I believe your interests and desires should be front and center in all areas of the real estate transaction. To achieve this, I start by determining your needs and motivations.
If you’re selling, why do you need to sell your home? Do you want to upgrade to a larger property? Are you an empty-nester? Are you going through a financial hardship?
If you’re buying, is this your first home purchase? How long do you plan to live in the home? Are you purchasing the property as an investment?
From there, I develop a plan to help you achieve your individual goals. I am passionate about helping you make the right decisions to meet your goals. I will educate you about the local market and use the latest technology to keep you informed about any changes that may affect your home purchase or sale. Once we get to the negotiating table, I will advocate on your behalf and ensure your interests are represented to your satisfaction.
Since 1989, I’ve been actively involved in the San Diego real estate market. Originally from Michigan, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Marketing from Michigan State University. I then moved to San Diego in 1986 to attend California Western School of Law. I fell in love with the city and have lived here ever since.
In 1995, I became a broker and started The Roby Company Real Estate Brokerage. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of people buy and sell homes. In the more than thirty years I’ve been in the industry, I’ve weathered many a market shift and still firmly believe that real estate is a great investment – I’m an avid investor, too! My personal motto is to be forward thinking, no matter what the market.
When we’re not busy selling real estate, Stacy and I enjoy listening to live music around town (including our favorite performer, our youngest daughter Hannah), walking the neighborhood with our dog, and loving life in Poway. We also visit our three other daughters often.
